Who are we?

The Chicago Gophers is an alumni group formed and managed pro bono by local Chicago alumni. We are University of Minnesota Alumni Association's local Chicago Chapter. Come cheer on the Maroon and Gold at our official football, basketball, and hockey game watches. We have a variety of events for alumni of all ages(Check out our Events Page, it's always changing)! If you are interested in getting more involved, we are always actively recruiting Leadership Board Members to support Chicago Gophers outreach. Contact our Chapter Presidents: Chris Johnson and Matt Altstiel.

University of Minnesota Alumni Association membership is encouraged. We ask that alumni use Code NP4CI when registering to help us better communicate with you, our local alumni, regarding many events and activities that we plan as well as our local outreach/networking efforts to proud Minnesota Alumni.
